3. Service Description
Tensor Kopi provides structured, part-time AI engineering courses delivered online with live sessions, graded assignments, and written feedback. The three current courses are:
- Foundations of Machine Learning Engineering (12 weeks, RM 490)
- Deep Learning Systems and Model Training (16 weeks, RM 1,720)

Course content, delivery format, and scheduling are subject to change. We will communicate material changes to enrolled students with reasonable notice.
Nothing in any Tensor Kopi course constitutes professional advice in any regulated field including but not limited to medicine, law, finance, or engineering requiring professional licensure. These courses teach software engineering.
4. Enrolment
4.1 Prerequisites
Each Course states its prerequisites. By enrolling, you confirm that you meet those prerequisites or have consulted with us beforehand. We reserve the right to decline enrolment where we believe the prerequisites are not met.
4.2 Enrolment confirmation
Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment and our written confirmation. A place is not reserved until payment is received.
4.3 Cohort size
Courses may have limited cohort sizes. Enrolment is on a first-come, first-served basis subject to prerequisite checks.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Fees
All fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Fees are confirmed at the time of enrolment.
5.2 Payment methods
Accepted payment methods are communicated at the time of enrolment. We use third-party payment processors; their terms apply to the payment transaction.
5.3 Refund policy
Refund requests submitted more than 7 days before the cohort start date are eligible for a full refund less any transaction fees. Refund requests submitted within 7 days of the start date or after the course has begun are assessed on a case-by-case basis. We do not offer refunds based on dissatisfaction with difficulty level where the course meets its stated description.
5.4 Withdrawal
If you withdraw from a course after it has begun, fees are not refunded unless exceptional circumstances apply. Please contact us at [email protected] to discuss your situation.
6. User Responsibilities
6.1 Acceptable use
You agree to use this website and course materials for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- Share login credentials or course materials with non-enrolled individuals
- Use course materials to create competing products without written consent
- Submit work that is not your own as your own assignment
- Misrepresent your qualifications or experience when enrolling
- Attempt to access systems or data that you are not authorised to access
6.2 Academic honesty
Assignments must be your own work. Collaboration on individual assignments is not permitted unless explicitly stated. Code review and feedback is provided for your work, not for work produced by others on your behalf.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our content
All course content — including lectures, assignments, code samples, and documentation — is owned by Tensor Kopi or licensed to us. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use course content for your personal learning only during and after the course.
7.2 Your work
Assignments, projects, and portfolio work that you produce remain your property. The deep learning course portfolio repository belongs to you. We retain the right to use anonymised and aggregated examples of student work for course improvement purposes, with any identifying information removed.
7.3 Restrictions
You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit course content without our written permission.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be available without interruption
- Course content is free from errors
- Completion of a course will result in any particular employment or career outcome
- Completion of a course qualifies you to practise in any regulated field
Any portfolio review, feedback, or introduction to employers provided as part of a course is offered without any promise or representation about outcomes.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Tensor Kopi's liability to you in connection with the Service is limited to the fees paid by you for the relevant Course in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Tensor Kopi harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of this Agreement, your use of the Service, or your violation of any applicable law.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service if you breach this Agreement. You may withdraw from a course at any time subject to the refund policy in Section 5. On termination, your licence to use course content ceases, but your ownership of work you produced during the course is unaffected.
12. Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from this Agreement will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. We encourage informal resolution first — please contact us at [email protected] before initiating formal proceedings.
13. General Provisions

- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so in the future.
